Fulham star Andreas Pereira has dropped a bombshell that’s bound to raise eyebrows in Premier League circles.

Despite having worked under managerial icons like Sir Alex Ferguson, Jose Mourinho, and Louis van Gaal, the Fulham midfielder claims Marco Silva is the most prepared coach he’s ever played under.

Marco Silva’s meticulousness impresses Pereira

In an era where tactical excellence often separates the good teams from the great ones, Marco Silva is clearly turning heads, at least among his players.

Speaking about his current boss, Pereira said, “He’s a perfectionist in making the team understand who we’re playing against.

“He's a perfectionist in making the team understand who we're playing against, the team's strengths. He prepares our team very well, he organises everything down to the last detail, and that makes it easier for us on game day.”

Pereira explained his admiration in detail, adding, “I think he really has his own style. We have a plan A, a plan B.

“I think he might be the coach who prepares the team the most that I've ever had, even down to the last details of set pieces, even throw-ins, we know what the other team is going to do. So, I think that's a huge advantage we have.”

Fulham punch above their weight with Silva at the helm

Pereira’s endorsement comes in the context of a season where Fulham became one of the Premier League’s best “middle-tier” sides, narrowly missing out on a European place.

While not breaking into European contention, they still managed to take four points off champions Liverpool, draw with Arsenal, and beat Chelsea, Tottenham, and Newcastle.

It is no surprise, then, that Silva’s name is now being linked with jobs at bigger clubs, including a potential move to Saudi Arabia or Tottenham.

But for now, Fulham fans can breathe easy as Silva insists he’s staying. And if Pereira’s comments are anything to go by, that might be the club’s biggest win this season.
