Joao Felix revealed that Bernardo Silva would be his number one target to strengthen Barcelona next season.

Amidst transfer speculations linking Silva with a potential move to Barcelona, Felix's endorsement of his compatriot adds weight to the rumors.

Silva's reported release clause of (£50 million) at Manchester City, which becomes active this summer, has prompted Felix to urge Barcelona's board to pursue the Portuguese forward and secure his services at Camp Nou.

Speaking to Gerard Romero's show Jijantes FC, Felix said: "If I were (Sporting Director) Deco for a day, I would sign Bernardo Silva without a doubt."

"His sister-in-law is here, (he's asked me) about how things are here, the weather, tax issues... I told him it's all right for him to come.

Felix also revealed that Silva would want to the pwear the prestigious No.10 shirt at Barcelona once worn by club legend Lionel Messi

"He would like to wear the number 10," he said. "It's a significant number at the club, you can't give it to just anyone, you have to be careful."

Bernardo Silva's contract at the Etihad runs until 2026.
