Rohr tells Simon to remain at Nantes

According to the former Super Eagles manager, the quick winger should stay in France instead of transferring to England.

“Moses Simon would thrive in France. He’s a very pleasant player to coach, who poses no problems. He’s hard-working and a good listener.

“When he arrives at a club, he puts himself at the service of the team because his statistics prove that he’s a footballer who knows how to score and make others score.

“He’s invaluable to his team’s offensive performance. His winger position won’t make him a player who can score 20 or 25 goals per season, but he’s invaluable to his team’s offensive performance,” he said in quotes revealed by Africa Foot.

Simon has surpassed the late Emiliano Sala to become FC Nantes' all-time leading assist provider with 42 assists.

Sala, who tragically died in a plane crash while on his way to join Cardiff City, previously held the record for the most assists on the team.
