‘I am technically better’ - Galatasaray star Batshuayi claims he has more to offer than Osimhen
Batshuayi played an important role in Galatasaray’s 1-0 win over Bodrum yesterday at Grey Beton Bodrum Stadium.
The Belgian scored the only goal of the game after heading home a cross from Dries Mertens in the 54th minute.
However, despite the win, Osimhen, who was paired alongside Batshuayi and has been in form for Galatasaray this season, failed to find the back of the net.
Batshuayi speaks about Osimhen
Batshuayi has claimed that he has better qualities as a striker than Osimhen in his post-match interview.
According to Galatasaray's official website, he said, "Of course, I can play as a double forward or as a single forward.
"But when we look at it, Victor is good at long and aerial balls. I can also make deep runs.
"I am technically better from my perspective. Of course, when you look at this, the coach's choice is important. We actually offer the coach the necessary options."
Batshuayi scored his sixth goal of the season in 18 games in all competitions for Galatasaray.
While Osimhen has eight goals and four assists in just ten appearances across all competitions.
Galatasaray now leads the Super Lig standings with 34 points after this victory, having won 11 of their 12 games and drawn one.
