‘I was screaming 'no'’ - Ex-Super Eagles star slams Nwabali for almost ruining Nigeria’s World Cup hopes

Ideye also expressed concern over a moment of defensive uncertainty involving goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali and his backline.
"That was bad communication from Nwabali. And it happened again; imagine if that ball went in," he said.
"The ball was going on slowly and I was screaming 'no'. Thank God that they didn't equalise."
Nwabali has come under criticism from Nigerians and former players, asking that he be dropped from the team.
Despite the appeal from fans, former Super Eagles player Sam Elijah has asked Chelle not to drop the goalkeeper for the game against Benin Republic.
