'Individual mistakes' - Van Nistelrooy laments errors as Leicester implode without Ndidi
Leicester City's poor run of form continued as they suffered a dismal 3-0 defeat at home to Wolves.
Ruud van Nistelrooy's side were undone by individual errors, which led to goals from Goncalo Guedes, Rodrigo Gomes, and Matheus Cunha in the first half.
This victory marked a crucial win for Wolves and their new manager Vitor Pereira in their battle against relegation.
Leicester's struggles were compounded by the absence of Wilfred Ndidi due to injury, which left their midfield vulnerable to Wolves' energetic and motivated team.
Van Nistelrooy expressed his frustration with the defeat, saying,
"It's obviously very disappointing. You look at how the goals were given away, probably more, because of the individual mistakes, and it happened too much today."
"It's a disappointing one. We couldn't give the crowd a good afternoon of football, which we were able to in the previous two games and lifted the place," he added.
Leicester's next match is an away trip to league leaders Liverpool on Boxing Day.
