A viral video captured a dramatic moment during the fight where both fighters were exchanging powerful blows.
Olanrewaju suddenly staggered and fell to the ground, with the referee initially believing it was a knockdown, but it quickly became apparent that something was seriously wrong.
Medical personnel immediately attempted to revive him, but their efforts were unsuccessful, and he was pronounced dead.
Olanrewaju's professional boxing career included 23 fights, with 13 wins (12 by knockout). Prior to his death, he had lost four consecutive bouts.
