Sadeeq Yusuf pulled one back for the hosts five minutes before the end, scoring Harmony's first goal of the season.
Meanwhile, 43-year-old Kano Pillars legend Rabiu Ali continued his impressive form from last season, netting a brace against newly promoted Ikorodu City.
