The TNT sports presenter weighed in on the Olympic boxing genders of Imane Khelif and Lin Yu-Ting earlier this week.

The well-known sportscaster ignited a big conversation when she responded to a writeup concerning gold medallists in women's boxing, Imane Khelif and Lin Yu-Ting.

She and her unborn child received death threats as a result of her response to the story regarding women's boxing genders.

Laura threatened by fans

The 37-year-old, who is expecting her first child with Adam Collard from Love Island, has recently disclosed via X that she has been the target of multiple death threats.

In addition to the threats made against her family, Woods revealed that she has also received several additional harshly worded texts.

Laura said, “Since I replied to this article I’ve had numerous death threats to myself and my unborn child.

“Questions on my own gender (I’m pregnant so guess that clears that one up 😂) calls for my employers to sack me, threats to my home. I’ve been called a racist, a bigot and a sexist as well as various insults - c*nt, sl*g etc.

“I’ve also been asked why I haven’t raised any concerns on this topic before? See above for your answer.

“When there are discrepancies with test results - which could impact the safety of another human being, in an environment that above all else should be fair - questions are quite rightly going to be asked. The answers are still unclear, otherwise this topic would be closed.”

Following her first post endorsing Brown's piece, Woods faced backlash in her comments section on social media.

Meanwhile, Imane Khelif net worth is not widely known, even though her name resonates with determination and excellence in the world of boxing and has been making headlines for her remarkable achievements.
