Liverpool v Wolves betting tips and odds

Liverpool are currently seventh on the Premier League table and will hope to kick off a run against Wolverhampton Wanderers. The Reds are coming off a goalless draw with Crystal Palace, as they have struggled for consistency all season. Jurgen Klopp’s side are nine points behind Tottenham Hotspur, who are in fourth place, despite playing two fewer games than them.

Wolves will come into this game full of confidence after defeating Liverpool 3-0 at Molineux a few weeks ago. Julen Lopetegui’s side are in 15th place, three points off the relegation zone. 

Thiago Alcantara, Calvin Ramsay, Luis Diaz, and Joe Gomez are all out, and Darwin Nunez is doubtful to face the Wolves.

Wolves are missing Hwang Hee-chan, Sasa Kalajdzic, Chiquinho, and Boubacar Traore, while Matheus Cunha may not play.

Wolves won 3-0 at home against Liverpool a few weeks ago and will be confident going into this game. While we do not expect another 3-0 victory, we expect a close game. Wolves have been decent on the road in recent games, losing just one of their last six away games. We expect Lopetegui’s side to cause the Reds some trouble at Anfield.

Liverpool have not scored more than two goals in a game since their 3-1 Boxing Day victory over Aston Villa last year. The Reds have struggled to convert their chances and might find it more difficult to create enough chances against a well-drilled Wolves side.

Manchester City are the only side to score more than two goals against Wolves since club football resumed after the World Cup.
