‘Make he drop 10% of the money’ - Boniface tells fan who sold his boot for $100
Pulse Sports reported yesterday that a boy who attended Nigeria's 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Rwanda received Boniface's boots after the match.
The boy was gifted a pair of boots by the Leverkusen forward, but due to financial hardship and hunger, he sold them to a Rwandan player for $100.
The following post quickly went viral on social media, which caught the attention of Super Eagles star Boniface.
Boniface’s message to the boy
Boniface jokingly commented on Brila FM's post that he should get a cut of the sales and asked for help finding the boy in the clip.
He wrote in the comment section on X, “Abeg, make una find this boy for me. Make he drop 10% of the money ooo.”
