Manchester United plotting move for Bayern Munich striker to solve goalscoring issues
Manchester United are reportedly pushing to sign Bayern Munich forward Thomas Muller on a free transfer next summer.
Müller, who has spent his entire career with the Bundesliga champions, is facing reduced playing time this season.
Thomas Muller to Manchester United?
The 34-year-old has only started four league games and was benched during the recent 1-0 victory against FC Koln. With his contract ending this season, Bild suggests that a renewal is very unlikely for the German international.
The report further states that United boss Erik ten Hag is a big admirer of the Bayern man and would love chance to bring in a payer of such rich experience to a faltering attack.
United are set to host Bayern in the middle of December in their final Champions League group-stage fixture. Ten Hag’s side currently sit bottom of Group A and face a must-win encounter away at Galatasaray first.
