Scott McTominay has opened up about his decision to leave Manchester United, stating that it was a "mutual" agreement between him and the club.
The Scottish midfielder made the switch to Napoli in the summer transfer window in a £25.7 million deal.
McTominay has expressed no regrets over his decision, saying he knew it was what he wanted.
"I took it, I didn’t look back, it didn’t take me long to make the decision," he told the BBC.
"It was a mutual decision for all of us, I’m enjoying it at Napoli," he said.
The 27-year-old has settled in well at Napoli, impressing under manager Antonio Conte.
"I knew that was what I wanted, and I’ll never have any regrets in my life," he added.
McTominay's move to Napoli has been a resounding success, with the midfielder thriving in Serie A.
His decision to leave Manchester United appears to have been the right one, both for the player and the club.
