No Aina no problem as Nottingham Forest ease past Luton in FA Cup 3rd round

Nuno Espírito Santo’s men were looking to continue their impressive form this season as they faced Luton in the FA Cup.

Taiwo Awoniyi, who made his second start of the season, had an impressive game as Forest sealed a 2-0 victory over Luton.

Super Eagles star Awoniyi made the starting lineup for Nottingham Forest after his goal against Wolves at the weekend.

Ola Aina, on the other hand, did not make the team sheet as he is rested for their next game against Liverpool.

Forest controlled the game and had most of the possession in the first half but had to wait until the 40th minute to score the first goal. Ramon Sosa's inswinging cross from the left is headed home by stooping Ryan Yates.

The home side added the second goal in the second half from Ramon Sosa to clinch the win for Nottingham Forest.

The win sent Forest to the next round of the competition as they continued their impressive performance this season.
