Osimhen deserves all kinds of hype - Ex-Turkey striker with 125 goals hails Super Eagles star

Former Villarreal striker Nihat Kahveci has lavished praise on Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen, describing him as "deserving of all kinds of hype."

Osimhen has been in scintillating form for Galatasaray, leading the team's charge with his impressive goal-scoring exploits.

The Super Eagles star has scored 26 goals and provided 5 assists in 30 appearances across all competitions.

Kahveci praised Osimhen after his hat trick against Antalyaspor over the weekend as the Nigerian striker has been instrumental in Galatasaray's success this season.

Kahveci who scored 106 goals in his club career and 19 goals for his national team revealed that Osimhen has won the heart of the fans.

"A generation of fans are supporting Galatasaray because of Icardi. But what will happen with Osimhen who knows?" Kahveci said in an interview with Fanatik.

He continued, "This man deserves all kinds of hype. If such players always come, after leaving Galatasaray, I will follow and watch him play in every sense."

However, for now, Osimhen has joined the Super Eagles camp in Kigali ahead of the must-win World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda on Friday.
