Christophe Dugarry, the former French international, pointed the finger squarely at the reigning Ligue 1 champions.

"I am 100% with (coach Didier) Deschamps. Dembélé's injury is primarily Paris Saint-Germain's fault. We've seen him fragile for years, and now he's paid the price for an endless season," the former player stated on RMC's "Rothen s’enflamme" show, via Abola.

He continued, "The manipulation Paris Saint-Germain is attempting to employ is scandalous and shows a lack of respect for the national team and Didier Deschamps." He further accused, "Paris Saint-Germain is solely responsible for Dembélé's excessive workload."

It's worth recalling that following these injuries, Paris Saint-Germain called for the implementation of a new medical-athletic protocol between national teams and clubs.

Dembélé sustained a right thigh injury that will sideline him for approximately six weeks, while Doué is dealing with an issue in his right calf.
