Salma Paralluelo: Spain's most beautiful footballer gets new Barcelona number following World Cup heroics

Spain’s teenage World Cup star Salma Paralleulo is enjoying one of the best years in her career as a professional footballer.

At just 19 years of age, the beautiful youngster has won nearly every trophy at international and club level.

Paralluelo who is considered as one of the most beautiful female footballers in the world has seen her stocks rise after impressing for her national team at the just-concluded 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.

The pacy Barca Femeni winger scored twice for Spain while featuring in every single match for La Roja throughout the tournament.

Paralluelo netted a crucial winner in Spain’s quarter final match against the Netherlands to send them to the semi-finals where she scored again in their 2-1 win against Sweden.

Following her impressive World Cup debut for Spain, Parelluelo has been rewarded with an iconic shirt number for her club side, Barca Femeni.

The 19-year-old former Villarreal winger won the Best Young Player Award at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup and will now sport the number 7 jersey for Barcelona Femeni - the same number worn by former Barcelona and Spain legend David Villa.

Paralluelo has also enjoyed a meteoric rise on social media since the start of August 2023.

The former sprinter has seen her followership on Instagram grow from 100K plus followers to more than 406,000 followers as at the time of this report- recording a growth of roughly more than 200% on the popular social media platform.
