LAFC's summer signing, Son Heung-Min, has opened his account in MLS with a spectacular free-kick goal against FC Dallas as he turned Lionel Messi, a moment that came in just his third game since his departure from Tottenham.
The Korean star continued his strong start to life in Los Angeles, scoring a wonderful set piece in the first half of their Western Conference clash with FC Dallas.

From 25 yards out, Son stepped up and whipped the ball up and over the wall, leaving FC Dallas goalkeeper Michael Collodi helpless as it sailed into the top corner.
Son has been immensely effective for LAFC in his short time at the club. He won a penalty off the bench in his first appearance, provided an assist in his second, and has now bagged his first goal in his third showing for the club.
The goal was a rare feat for the forward, marking only the second free-kick strike of his professional career.
His one previous free-kick goal came during his time with Tottenham in the 2021-22 season.
LAFC's next fixture is a Southern California derby against Western Conference leaders San Diego FC.
