Nigerian football legend Sunday Oliseh recently had a heartfelt moment of reflection.

He recently took to social media to express his gratitude to God for a remarkable chapter in his illustrious career.

In a video shared on social media, Oliseh had a reflection about his time with Serie A side Juventus, where he featured in midfield alongside Del Piero and Zinedine Zidane.

The video dates back to the 1997-1998 season during his brief but impactful stint with Old Lady Juventus.

Oliseh found himself on the pitch alongside two of football’s greatest icons—Alessandro Del Piero and Zinedine Zidane.

In the match between Juventus and Reggiana, with Oliseh poised to take a freekick in a critical moment of the game.

What makes this moment so significant is the trust placed in Oliseh to take the set piece over two of the game’s most celebrated playmakers, a testament to his skill and the respect he commanded even among giants.

Oliseh made penned a touching message that said, “Thanks for sharing this; how time flies.

"Looking at this just gets me thankful for the talent God blessed me with. Trust him, he will surprise you like he did me.”

Since his retirement, Sunday Oliseh has gone into coaching. He managed the Super Eagles of Nigeria between 2015 and 2016, and German second tier club Fortuna Sittard between 2017 and 2018.
