Super Falcons: Plumptre bags brace, Ordega scores as Al Ittihad defeats Shula Al-Sharqiya
Al-Ittihad Ladies delivered a commanding 6-0 victory over Shula Al-Sharqiya in their final match of the 2024/25 Saudi Women’s Premier League season.
The resounding win, played at their home ground, marked a high note to close out a challenging campaign for the Jeddah-based side.

The match saw Al-Ittihad Ladies dominate possession and create numerous scoring opportunities.
The breakthrough came in the 30th minute when Layla Iskandar opened the scoring with a composed finish.
Al-Ittihad doubled their lead just before halftime through Fatimah Mansour, who found the net with a powerful strike.
The second half saw Al-Ittihad pick up where they left off, continuing to dictate the tempo.
In the 73rd minute, Leighanne Robe made it 3-0 with a clinical finish to beat the Eastern Flames goalkeeper.
Six minutes later, in the 79th minute, Super Falcons of Nigeria star Francisca Ordega added the fourth.
The Super Falcons star, who has been a standout since joining from CSKA Moscow and continues to gel with the team.
The final stages of the match belonged to Ashleigh Plumptre, who scored twice to seal the rout.
Her first came in the 85th minute, a towering header from a corner kick, and she completed the scoring in the 90th minute with a composed finish after a quick counter-attack, securing her brace and Al-Ittihad’s sixth goal of the night.
