Super Eagles star Fisayo Dele-Bashiru put his team ahead in the first half after a neat play saw him through on goal.
However, Lookman has to show his brilliance in the 88th minute after putting a cross into the box for Marco Brescianini to tap into an empty net and rescue a point for Atalanta.
What Lookman said after the game
After the game, Lookman admitted that it was a difficult game to play and the team had to take positives from the draw.
The Nigerian international spoke to DAZN via Tuttomercatoweb after the draw at Lazio, "A positive point; let's move forward.
“It wasn't an easy match, the important thing is to take home a point. Let's push until the end; that's what we have to do.”
Atalanta manager Gian Piero Gasperini also had a lot to say about Lookman’s performance and thanked him for the assist that led to his team’s equaliser.
Lookman has been exceptional for Atalanta this season, scoring nine goals and providing five assists.
