‘The Oscar goes to’ - Hojlund makes fun of Walker with savage poem after theatrics in Manchester derby
Manchester United secured an important victory against their bitter rivals Manchester City at the Etihad on Sunday.
The Red Devils compounded Pep Guardiola’s woes, defeating his team 2-1 and extending their loss to eight in 11 games in all competitions.
Goals from Bruno Fernandez and Amad Diallo late in the game sealed the comeback for the visitors against their noisy neighbour.
Hojlund’s gesture towards Walker
Walker's late tackle on the Danish striker caused a heated moment between both players as they squared off in the first half, which resulted in a brawl.
In response to the challenge, Hojlund jumped up and ran straight at the England player, slamming into him from forehead to forehead.
Despite little contact, Walker hurled himself to the ground after a few seconds, clutching his face while Hojlund looked on in disbelief.
Following the game, Hojlund immediately took to social media to criticise Walker's antics during the game.
He wrote a poem on his Instagram page, "Manchester is red. Violets are blue. What a brilliant performance. But the Oscar goes to..."
He then called out the England defender for his play-acting by posting a photo of the two of them clashing.
