'They will turn up' — Chelsea icon makes bold prediction for Liverpool vs Man Utd

Joe Cole has made a bold prediction as Liverpool prepare to host Manchester United in a highly anticipated clash at Anfield on Sunday.

Despite Liverpool being heavy favorites, Cole believes the match will be more competitive than expected. He told Paddy Power:

"It's a derby and it's a one-off game. But having said that, you can't look past this Liverpool side. Manchester United will turn up, and make a game of it, but Liverpool will win 2-1.

"Manchester United might threaten on the counter-attack and get a goal, but they'll get pinned back at Anfield up against the Kop."

The Red Devils recent form only adds to the challenge they face at Anfield.

They have struggled badly under new manager Ruben Amorim and are currently on a run of four straight defeats, including the 2-0 defeat to Newcastle at Old Trafford in midweek.

Another bad defeat here could set the alarm bells ringing as the club struggles to get out of the bottom half.
