"This has never happened to me before" - Harry Kane calls out Bayen Munich club leadership

Bayern claimed the Franz Beckenbauer SuperCup on Saturday, but behind the scenes, there's considerable unrest about their transfers.

The Bundesliga champions have already brought in some players this summer, notably the signing of Luis Diaz but also let some players leave and yet to be replaced.

Following Bayern's 2-1 victory over VfB Stuttgart, top scorer Harry Kane publicly criticized the club's leadership for the first time, sounding the alarm.

"This is probably one of the smallest squads I've ever been a part of. We have few players, but acquisitions aren't under the players' control," commented the England international, via Abola.

Bayern has several injured players, including Jamal Musiala, Alphonso Davies, Hiroki Ito, and Aleksandar Pavlovic. They've also lost several key players: Kingsley Coman to Al Nassr, Leroy Sane to Galatasaray, Thomas Muller to Vancouver Whitecaps, and Eric Dier to Monaco.

In contrast, the management has only managed to bring in Jonathan Tah (Bayer Leverkusen), Tom Bischof (Hoffenheim), and Luis Diaz (Liverpool), missing out on Nick Woltemade (VfB Stuttgart) and Christopher Nkunku (Chelsea).

Regarding Woltemade, VfB won't negotiate below €70 million, while Bayern is only offering €60 million, including bonuses. As for Nkunku, the Bavarians only want a loan, while Chelsea insists on a permanent transfer.

Goalkeeper Manuel Neuer also appealed to the management, saying, "I hope something happens," while sporting director Christoph Freund reacted evasively.

"Due to Jamal Musiala's injury, we are obviously in a different position than last year. The quality is still very, very high, the quantity is smaller now, but there are still two weeks left in this summer transfer window. Obviously, we are attentive and don't want to rule anything out," said the Bayern official.
