"This was my last official game" - Otamendi joins Messi in bidding farewell to Argentina
Lionel Messi stole the spotlight in Argentina's victory over Venezuela, scoring a brace as they claimed a 3-0 victory.
After the game, the legend also revealed the possibility that it might be his last official home game for the *Albiceleste*.
However, he wasn't the only one contemplating a farewell. Nicolás Otamendi, Benfica's centre-back, also admitted to the same scenario.

"Yes, absolutely. Obviously, Leo [Messi] deserves everything; it's more than deserved because, well, he's by far the greatest player in history. And honestly, today needed to end this way.
With everyone here, I'm also grateful to the people because they came out, despite the cold, there were many kids, and I'm very happy they could enjoy this moment too," he began, as reported Sportal.
"As for me, if there are no more official games here in Argentina, then this was also my last game, and I thoroughly enjoyed this spectacle. I'm very happy.
"Happy because I wanted to end it this way, enjoying it with the people, with my family, who are always present, and I'm very happy about that," he emphasised.
