Manchester City have reportedly reached an agreement with AC Milan for the transfer of Tijjani Reijnders.
The Dutch midfielder is poised to join the Premier League giants, with sources indicating a move to the Etihad Stadium is imminent.
Reijnders’ reported Man City salary
Several sources report that the transfer fee for Reijnders will be an initial €55 million, supplemented by further add-ons, possibly taking the deal to around €75 million depending on City's future results and achievements.
The Dutchman is expected to sign a five-year contract at the Etihad and will reportedly command a salary of €8 million per season as per Football Italia.
From figures provided by Capology, Reijnders's reported salary will make the midfield man City's 15th highest earner, though that standing could change after departures and arrivals.
Reijnders had recently extended his contract with the Rossoneri until 2030, but the player who scored 15 goals in all competitions last season will leave Milan.
What’s next for Man City?
The potential swift signing of Reijnders means that the Netherlands star could play at this summer’s Club World Cup.
Guardiola's men begin their campaign against Wydad on June 18 before facing Al Ain and Juventus.
