Transfer news: Brighton set to sign teenage sensation to replace Caicedo

Brighton have been engaged in transfer talks with Lille since last week, and now look set to finalise a deal for Baleba reported to be around €30m. 

According to 90min, Baleba has agreed personal terms with the Seagulls over a five-year contract that includes the option for another 12 months, and he will now undergo medical tests to complete the deal.

The Cameroon-born midfielder enjoyed an outstanding season in Ligue 1 last season after replacing Amadou Onana, who joined Everton, playing a prominent role in central midfield.
