UCL: 17-year-old superstar Yamal names only club that can win trophy ahead of Barcelona

The race to win the UEFA Champions League is certainly going to be a close run with several excellent teams determined to snatch the trophy from Real Madrid.

One of the best teams in this year's tournament so far are Barcelona, and they are certainly among the favourites to win it all.

Barca star Lamine Yamal believes there could be another club in the running.

Yamal spoke ahead of Barcelona’s LaLiga clash with Las Palmas this weekend, picking Liverpool as potential winners.

Both Liverpool and Barcelona have already booked their place in the Champions League Round of 16 stage, with the Reds finishing top of the standings.

“I think that only Liverpool are more favorites than us in Champions League… as they arrived first,” Yamal told MD.

“We can compete to win it. We can be there.”
