Udonis Haslem announces official retirement from the NBA

Miami Heat legend Udonis Haslem has retired from the NBA at the age of 43, after 20 illustrious seasons.

Haslem joins the exclusive group of players who have spent 20 seasons with a single team, following in the footsteps of Dirk Nowitzki (Dallas Mavericks) and Kobe Bryant (Los Angeles Lakers).

He was three championships in Miami and was a crucial part of the team on and off the court, assuming a leadership role at the tail-end of his career.

Over the course of 879 games, Haslem has maintained solid NBA career averages of 7.5 points and 6.6 rebounds.
