‘We shall see’ - Lookman gives hint on a possible move back to England

Lookman has been the subject of transfer speculation since last summer and has intensified following his form this season. 

The forward has been one of Atalanta’s best players this season, scoring 11 goals and providing five assists in all competitions.

Four Premier League teams—Arsenal, Liverpool, Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur—are reportedly monitoring the winger's situation in Italy.

Lookman would be an intriguing addition to a top-flight English side given his Premier League experience and position as a homegrown player.

He has been linked with a move back to England, with the Nigerian international considering returning to the EPL.

Lookman told Sporty TV, "Obviously the player that I was then is definitely the completely different player than I am today.

"And as a person, I have grown up and I've matured a lot, and I have been able to achieve a lot in my time here.

"That's also because I've been able to create a process in terms of my work and how I think and all different aspects of my life and areas that I could improve on and do which I have done.

"It's all becoming who I am today so I'm pleased with that and wherever the future takes you, we shall see."

Lookman was in action for Atalanta in the UEFA Champions League against Real Madrid and was named the Man of the Match after scoring in the game despite the 3-2 loss.
