You lack profesionalism and education — Mexico legend slams Messi after controversial gesture
Adolfo Bautista has slammed 8-time Ballon d'Or winner Lionel Messi, accusing the Argentine superstar of lacking professionalism and education.
Bautista's comments came after Messi's antics during Inter Miami's friendly match against Club America.
During the game, Messi scored in the 34th minute and subsequently appeared to mock Club America fans and the Mexican nation with a provocative gesture.
In response to jibes from the crowd, Messi held up three fingers to represent Argentina's World Cup wins and then made a zero with his hands, implying that Mexico had never won the tournament.

Bautista took to Instagram to express his outrage, sharing an image of himself with Messi on the pitch. He tagged the Argentine captain and wrote,
"I admired you as a player. But messing with my country speaks of your lack of professionalism and education."
The incident has sparked a debate on social media, with many defending Messi's actions as a harmless celebration.
Inter Miami have more friendlies lined up before their CONCACAF Champions Cup opener on February 19.
They take on U.de.Deportes, Miguelito, Olimpia, and Orlando City over the next two weeks.
