Your strikers are not special - Jose Mourinho told to sign Nigerian 'terminator' Victor Osimhen

Jose Mourinho has been urged to secure a striker like Victor Osimhen to enhance Fenerbahce's chances of competing with Turkish rivals Galatasaray in the Super Lig. 

Since taking over as manager in the summer, Mourinho has faced the challenge of narrowing the gap between Fenerbahce and Galatasaray, who currently sit atop the Super Lig standings.

Despite Mourinho's experience and tactical acumen, Fenerbahce's performance has not matched expectations, especially with Galatasaray bolstered by the presence of Osimhen, who has been in sensational form since joining on loan from Napoli. 

The Nigerian striker and Napoli icon is recognised as one of the top forwards in football, and his contributions have been key in Galatasaray's success this season.

Emre Bol, a former coach of Fenerbahce, emphasised the need for Mourinho to find a "terminator" striker to match Osimhen's calibre. He described Osimhen as a "monster," stating per habersarikirmizi;

Bol further noted that there are only two players in the world who can be classified as special strikers: Osimhen and Erling Haaland.

He added, "Fenerbahce needs to find a striker close to that. Your strikers are not special. Icardi, the injured striker, is also special." 

This critique calls for urgency from Mourinho and Fenerbahce to bolster their attacking options if they hope to challenge for titles against formidable opponents like Galatasaray.

Mourinho will need to address these concerns and potentially target top talent in the transfer market to enhance his squad's competitiveness.
