KCCA Leopards, who have gone unnoticed for much of the season, head into this season's playoffs riding on a wave of form that will have them among the favourites to lift the championship at the end of the season.

Currently undefeated in the second round, they now sit fourth with a 15-4 record with confidence at an all-time high.

Coach Francis Okello has insisted that winning the championship is the goal for the Kampala-based side as they aim to win their first title in nine years.

"Our goal from the start of the season has been to win the championship, and the confidence in the team is high, and we are now preparing an assault on the playoffs," Okello told Pulse Sports.

"We can only reach our goal if we play as a unit on both ends of the floor and keep our discipline by making the right decisions at the right time," he added.

He also said that the excellent chemistry around the team this season has led to their fantastic form throughout the campaign and will help them during the business end of the season.

"We have added a few pieces in the squad like Sylvester Kazibwe (formely knowns as Sylvia 'Balotelli' Nakazibwe ), who has integrated well with the team, and the fantastic good team chemistry has helped us with our performances this season," Okello added.

The Leopards look unstoppable, and only time will tell if they will achieve their season goal come playoff time.
