BUL has announced the release of five more players, including former Vipers defender Aggrey Madoi and forward Paul Sekulima.

BUL FC has continued with their massive restructuring under newly-appointed coach Abbey Kikomeko who has released five more players.

The club released their long-standing midfielder Richard Wandyaka about a fortnight ago, alongside left-back Ivan Wani and goalkeeper Emmanuel Kalyoowa.

The latter crossed to the Rwanda Premier League, where he joined SC Kiyovu on a three-year deal.

The club has announced the release of five more players, including former Vipers defender Aggrey Madoi and forward Paul Sekulima.

Madoi was a key pillar in the team when they reached their first-ever Uganda Cup final in 2021 and 2022, when they eventually won it.

Sekulima joined the edible oil manufacturers in February this year after a short stint at Mbale Heroes, where he had joined from Busoga United.

However, the striker struggled for playing time and stamping his authority in the team.

The others are long-serving junior team graduates Owen Mukisa, Edrine Cavan Mawerere and Herbert Onyango.

The move comes just a day after the club completed the signing of Nicholas Mwere as coach Abbey Kikomeko strengthens his team with his former players at Busoga United.
