FUFA suspended Gaddafi captain Andrew Waiswa and player Mahad Kakooza as they conduct investigations over a possible case of match-fixing.
Gaddafi will be grossly affected by the suspension of their captain Andrew Waiswa and player Mahad Kakooza in their remaining StarTimes Uganda Premier League matches.
The two are among eight who are under investigation for match-fixing and manipulation of results.

SUPL FUFA suspends six players, two referees over match-fixing
FUFA claims to have received confidential reports, confessions from individuals as well as studied the available ata from the Match Integrity reports.
Their coach Wasswa Bbosa bemoaned the developments as he seeks to stabilise his soldiers to tackle the remaining games starting with Maroons on Tuesday at Kakindu.
“We shall miss the two who were suspended because of the ongoing investigations by the federation [FUFA],” Bbosa bemoaned.

Bbosa’s teams are organised in defence; Gaddafi rose to 11th place after going a run of five games with neither a loss nor goal conceded but slumped to three defeats that dragged them from 7th place to 11th.
Bbosa says that the only way is to reorganise his defence but the latest suspensions will deal him a blow as the two are key in the heart of his backline.
“The team has struggled with injuries and was hinged on Captain Waiswa as one of the key defenders and Mahad Yaya, which affects our preparations towards the end of the season, but we shall use the ones available to see to it that we win our remaining games,” Bbosa added.
They face Maroons that holds the fifth position on the log with 36 points.
