KCCA FC are gearing up for their first match of the CAF Confederation Cup Preliminaries against Libya’s Abu Salem slated for September 17 at the Olympic De Rades Stadium in Tunisia.
The team has had several practice matches and lost 2-1 to Maroons at the Prisons Grounds in Luzira Friday evening.

The thirteen-time league champions got a bye in the first round and will take on Libyan side Abu Salem to book a spot in the CAF Confederation Cup group stages.
Peter Magambo scored KCCA’s consolation goal in the second half to halve the deficit following Maroon’s two-goal advantage that was carried into the halftime break.
