Riyadh Mahrez has denied rumours linking him to Saudi Arabia and says his focus is now on the AFCON qualifiers and a holiday treat after a long season.

Manchester City and Algeria national team captain Riyadh Mahrez has quashed rumours linking him to a move to Saudi Arabia.

Earlier this week, reports linked the 32-year-old to a $40 million move to Al Hilal in one of the latest swoops to lure players to the Gulf nation.

The striker told the media on Saturday morning that he is concentrating on running down his contract at Manchester City, which has remained for two years.

“I have two years left in Manchester. So far, there is NOTHING,” he was quoted by Algeria FA media.

The player said that his focus now is on the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Uganda on Sunday in Cameroon.

“I am concentrating on these two games (Uganda and Tunisia), and then I will go on vacation inshallah,” he added.

The Desert Foxes will play an international friendly against Tunisia on Tuesday, two days after their game with Uganda.
