Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford has resumed full training after missing out on the semi-final first leg against Sevilla.

The Red Devils played out a 2-2 draw with Sevilla at Old Trafford but were hit with injuries before and after the game. However, some of their first-team players have resumed training which is a boost for them.

Manchester United are now dealing with an injury crisis as up to eight important players were absent from the team's recent 2-0 victory over Nottingham Forest on the road.

Rashford overcomes groin injury

The Red Devils are preparing for their second-leg clash with Sevilla in the UEFA Europa League and Rashford has been seen training with his teammates.

The Red Devils' top scorer made an impact before leaving the field in the closing seconds of that 2-0 victory against Everton.

Erik Ten Hag will be happy to see him back, whether he is ready to play or not. The Premier League powerhouses had numerous opportunities against Sevilla, and if Rashford had been present, the English team might have prevailed.

Manchester United receives injury boost

Given the injuries to Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez, as well as the fact that United let Sevilla two goals at home, Ten Hag's defence is a major issue.

Rashford wasn't the only person to resume training, though; Tyrell Malacia, Marcel Sabitzer, and Luke Shaw also did so ahead of the return leg. Varane wasn't seen, which makes Shaw's presence even more significant because the Englishman has filled in as a centre-back this season.

Manchester United will need to beat Sevilla on Thursday if they are to qualify for the Europa League semi-final.
