The next football video game EA Sports FC 24 will feature Mason Greenwood when it is officially released on September 29.

Greenwood was accused of assaulting his girlfriend a few years ago and was removed from the previous version of the FIFA 22 game.

However, he was later found not guilty of all charges after reports claimed that all charges were dropped by his girlfriend.

Greenwood, who is on loan at Getafe from Manchester United will be reinstated to the new EA Sports FC 24 game according to reports.

EA Sports statement on Greenwood

The Athletic reports that the 21-year-old will be present in the most recent iteration of the game as he gets ready to return to football.

EA Sports released a statement earlier today about their plans to include Mason Greenwood in their new football game.

EA Sports issued a statement that said, “EA Sports FC 24 authentically reflects the active rosters of teams and clubs in the real world of football.

“As he is now part of an active roster with Getafe CF, Mason Greenwood will be included in FC 24.”

However, Due to the fact that Greenwood was not a member of an active squad as of EA's cut-off date, he will not be included in the popular Ultimate Team mode.

EA said, “As Greenwood was not part of an active roster at the time of our cut-off date for final team and player data, he will not appear in Ultimate Team at launch.”

Greenwood will continue his football career at Getafe after being loaned to the Spanish club by Manchester United.
