The NFF is serious about the Nigeria Super Eagles lifting the AFCON title in the Ivory Coast and would like to see Hilda Baci help the team achieve that.

The Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, have strengthened their campaign to drum support for the Super Eagles ahead of the next AFCON with the addition of Hilda Baci.

NFF has linked up with the Guinness World Record holder to help push support for the Super Eagles’ quest to lift their fourth AFCON title in Cote d’Ivoire next year.

The football governing body revealed this in a promotional video posted on their official social media page on Monday.

“Thank you so much, NFF, “ Baci said in the video. “Let’s do it again with the Super Eagles,” she added.

Baci, who came into prominence after she smashed the world record for the longest-time cooking, is the latest influencer to join the NFF campaign after Big Brother Nigeria winner, Ilebaye.

NFF’s AFCON Campaign

As reported earlier by Pulse Sports Nigeria, ahead of the 2024 AFCON in the Ivory Coast, the Nigeria Football governing body launched a media campaign to drum up support for the men’s national team.

The campaign, with the slogan, “Let’s Do It Again”, is geared towards inspiring Jose Peseiro and his Eagles to end Nigeria’s 10-year wait to lift the title again.

Friday's friendly match between Nigeria and Saudi Arabia ended in a 2-2 stalemate at the Estadio Municipal de Portimao, much like their previous meeting in May 2010. X/Super Eagles

“We like the phrase because it gives us confidence and the go-go push. We have done it before so we can do it again,” team leader and defender, William Troost-Ekong noted.

“Winning the Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire is our goal and we have the team to do just that,” he added.

With chef Baci on board, NFF surely expect the Nigeria Super Eagles to cook other teams in Ivory Coast when the tournament gets underway next January.
