And, NEC head coach Hussein Mbalangu feels this will make their contest even more stout, with KCCA eyeing revenge.

"I know they will come all out so that they can pay what we did in the first round," Mbalangu told the club media.

The tactician also feels the fact that KCCA lost their most recent game to Kitara (1-0) will galvanize their charge against his side.

"And remember, they didn't win in their previous game (against Kitara), so I think they will come all out so that they can recover."

"But we know it won't be an easy game, it's going to be hard and we are prepared for it," noted Mbalangu.

"We shall maintain our style of play and philosophy, there's nothing much to change. We shall keep everything we do so that we can get the desired results."

Mbalangu also downplayed any talks of NEC chasing the championship this season.

"We're not looking much into the title, our aim is winning games. So, our strategy is to win games, our aim is KCCA's game."

While NEC sit fourth with 31 points in 18 games, the 'Cityzens' lie a lowly ninth with just 23.
