Bobosi Byaruhanga finally jets back to the United States

The former Vipers SC player flew out of the country last evening and will get underway at Austin in the next hours.

Uganda Cranes midfielder Bobosi Byaruhanga has, at long last, jetted out of the country to the United States to link up with his teammates at Austin FC II.

This comes after he finally received his visa that had dragged, whilst his team was already hard at work for preseason.

The former Vipers SC player flew out of the country last evening and will get underway at Austin in the next hours.

With the goal of keep to the desired fitness levels, Byaruhanga has been training with Vipers, to spur talks of an unlikely return.

It should be noted that the 2021 FUFA Men's Player of the Year spent last season in the MLS Next Pro League with Austin FC II, having signed a two-year contract.

He was integral as Austin II lifted the combined MLS Next Pro Cup having beaten Columbus Crew 2 in the final playoffs.

Byaruhanga also clinched the Western Conference championship with Austin II.

He played 26 times last season in the lead to the double triumph.

Byaruhanga is also a two-time Uganda Premier League and one-time Uganda Cup winner with Vipers.
