Held in the heart of Kenya's rally scene, the Chana brothers left spectators awe-inspired as they dominated the competition with their remarkable performance.

In a close battle for second place, rally legend Ian Duncan and his navigator Jaspal Matharu showcased their experience and talent.

Duncan, a household name in Kenya's rally history, is revered for his six Kenyan Rally Champion crowns.

With the roar of his Datsun 280Z echoing through the tracks, Duncan displayed his unwavering determination, giving the Chana brothers a tough challenge.

However, it was the Chana brothers' day, and they maintained a steady lead throughout the rally, expertly maneuvering the twists and turns of the challenging course.

Meanwhile, the team of Jeremiah Wahome and Victor Okundi showed immense determination, securing a commendable third-place finish in their trusty Ford Fiesta.

The rally, however, wasn't without its share of heartbreak. Hamza Anwar, who had been leading the competition for most of the way, faced a cruel twist of fate.

Anwar's Mitsubishi Lancer succumbed to transmission failure during the fifth section of the rally, forcing him into an unfortunate early retirement.

Despite the setback, Anwar's remarkable display of skill and speed in the earlier stages of the rally did not go unnoticed, leaving spectators eager to see him bounce back stronger in future events.

All eyes now turn to the upcoming rounds of the 2023 Kenya National Rally Championship. With Mombasa Motor Club hosting the next round between September 9-10, the excitement and anticipation among rally enthusiasts are palpable.

Looking ahead, the Kenya Motor Sports Club (Nairobi) will take center stage on October 7-8, followed by the Simba Union Club (Nairobi) on November 4-5, and the Kenya Racing Track (Nairobi) on December 2-3.
