The 17-year-old prodigy demonstrated his remarkable racing skills, leaving seasoned competitors such as Scott Heygate, Anthony Reynard, and Rory Donaldson in his wake as he claimed the top spot in Zambia.

Ugandan rider Stav Asiimwe Orland has once again showcased his exceptional talent on the international stage, emerging victorious in the Toyota Mkushi Zambia national event over the weekend.

The 17-year-old prodigy demonstrated his remarkable racing skills, leaving seasoned competitors such as Scott Heygate, Anthony Reynard, and Rory Donaldson in his wake as he claimed the top spot in Zambia.

The triumph in Zambia not only adds another impressive accolade to Stav's growing list of achievements but also solidifies his status as one of the continent's finest racers.

The victory also serves as a significant milestone for Stav as he prepares for the highly anticipated fifth round of the South Africa MX championship where he currently holding the second position.

He now sets his sights on the upcoming Teza Richards Bay Championship in South Africa, scheduled for June 24.

Speaking to Vision Sport, Stav's mother, Evas Orland, expressed her delight at her son's triumph, acknowledging the positive impact it has on his morale and ambition.

She stated, "Zambia was mainly a practice race for Stav, a way for him to keep honing his skills. Winning the event undoubtedly reinforces his determination to aim higher and achieve greater success."

Competing in the MX1 class as a rookie, he impressed the motorsports community by securing the second position in Heat 1, showcasing his natural talent and determination on the track.

However, despite a strong start, Stav faced some setbacks in the second heat, finishing fifth overall.

In the MX2 class, where he aims to clinch the national title, Stav's competitive spirit shone through. He secured a commendable fifth-place finish in the first heat, displaying his tenacity and skill.

However, a crash in the second heat disrupted his momentum while running in second position, causing him to drop to fourth place. Nonetheless, his overall performance continues to garner praise and admiration.
