Jinja Hippos captain Tawfiq Bagalana rejoined the team in the Nile Special Sevens in Kitgum.
“We are thrilled to share that Tawfik Bagalana, one of our own, has been granted the opportunity to play for Leicester Forest RFC in England during the 2023-24 season,” Hippos announced.
“The Hippos Rugby Football Club has been wholeheartedly supportive of this exciting move, and we couldn't be happier for ‘Fiki’ as he embarks on the next chapter of his rugby and life journey,” the message read further.
