Brentford reject Manchester United's opening bid for Mbuemo
Mbemo has reportedly held several discussions with Manchester United representatives and is keen on the project, making a move to Old Trafford his priority this summer.
While he has met with three other Premier League clubs, Old Trafford is his preferred destination. Arsenal, Newcastle, and Tottenham are believed to be the other interested parties.
Man United bid rejected
Manchester United have submitted their first official bid for Brentford striker Mbeumo, according to The Athletic.
The offer, worth £45 million plus £10 million in add-ons, has been rejected by the Bees, but talks between the two clubs are ongoing and considered positive.
Sources indicate that Brentford are seeking approximately £50 million guaranteed, plus additional bonuses.
They are reportedly using the fee United paid Wolves for Matheus Cunha as a benchmark for their valuation of Mbemo.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirms that Manchester United are eager to accelerate negotiations with Brentford and finalize the deal swiftly.
United are determined to avoid the mistakes of previous summer transfer windows, when crucial deals were often concluded late in August after the Premier League season had already begun.
