‘He shows that consistently’ - Lookman hails Real Madrid star after impressive performance

Real Madrid fought hard to secure a narrow 3-2 victory against Atalanta in Italy in their UCL clash.

The Spanish side returned to winning ways after losing back-to-back games against AC Milan and Liverpool.

The result moved them from 24th position to 18th place on the UCL table as they struggled to get automatic qualification.

Following the match, Super Eagles star Lookman was full of praise for Vinicius and hailed his consistency.

Lookman told TNT Sports, “Yeah he’s (Vinicius Junior) one of the top players in the world, he shows that consistently time and time again, in the league and the Champions League. So he’s one of the top players in the world for sure.” 

The Brazilian forward has already scored five goals this season in the Champions League for Real Madrid.

The winger showed his quality against Atalanta and also scored to help Real Madrid get a vital win.

Meanwhile, Lookman was also on the scoresheet for Atalanta, increasing his UCL goal tally to three in the competition.
