‘I don't think it is right’ - Galatasaray boss insists Osimhen should be left alone amid transfer speculations
Osimhen has been making the headlines in recent weeks following an impressive performance in Turkey.
The Super Eagles star moved from Napoli to Galatasaray on loan during the summer transfer window after failing to get a big move to a top club in Europe.
However, following his incredible form for Galatasaray, Buruk has provided an update regarding his future.
Buruk speaks on Osimhen’s speculations
Buruk has acknowledged the significance of letting Osimhen concentrate on his game without interruption, but he stated a wish to turn the loan into a permanent one.
During an interview with Demirören News Agency, via Fanatik, Buruk said, "Osimhen will stay until the end of the season. Of course I would like to buy Osimhen's contract. He is happy here too.
"I don't think it is right to go after the player during this process. It is not right from an economic perspective either. It is not right from a financial perspective either. I think it is too early."
"The club may make this move towards the end of the season but right now we are looking at the situation a bit from a tabloid perspective."
"The player's mind needs to be left alone. We want to buy him. But we shouldn't confuse the player. He explained this and told us. He said he will finish the season at Galatasaray."
Osimhen has emerged as a vital member of the Turkish team, with five assists and twelve goals in 15 games in all competitions.
The Super Eagles star scored a brace to help Galatasaray to a 5-1 win over Kayserispor in the Super Lig.
