UEFA Champions League finalists Inter have reportedly identified Real Madrid defender Nacho Fernandez as a potential target for next season as they look to add more European experience to their squad.
Inter look to Real Madrid’s Nacho
Many of Inter’s current crop will be playing in their first-ever UEFA Champions League final when the Nerazzurri play Manchester City in this year’s climax, and the Italian club allegedly believes that they can improve the experience in the team with the signing of the Los Blancos defender.
Nacho has won five Champions League titles with Real Madrid, and although he is rarely a first-choice player, he has been one of the most dependable back-ups for Los Blancos, playing across a number of positions in defence.
Nacho tempted by new challenge
Nacho, a graduate of Real Madrid’s academy, joining the first team in 2011 and being part of one of the most successful teams of the 21st century.
After turning 33 in January, Nacho could be looking for a new challenge after winning every competition possible with Real Madrid at least twice.
Ace transfer tipster Fabrizio Romano suggests that Inter have already made contact with Nacho although an agreement was far from being reached.
