The target man arrived at Old Trafford in January on an initial loan deal until the end of the season as United sought cover for the departed Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Dutchman finished the campaign with just 2 goals in 31 appearances with none of those coming in the Premier League and United have decided against turning his loan deal into a permanent move.

According to Mirror Football, Everton are interested in a move for the Burnley man as they attempt to add to their attacking options after narrowly avoiding relegation last season.

The Toffees endured their own frustrations in front of goal throughout the 2022/23 campaign with main striker, Dominic Calvert-Lewin scoring just two Premier League goals all season as he battled against persistent injury issues.
